These terms explain how Read4Max Classics provides its website, digital book editions, and customer support.
About Read4Max Classics
Read4Max Classics is the sole-proprietor publishing brand that operates books.read4max.com. The website presents carefully prepared digital editions of classic works and related reading services.
Using the website
You may browse the catalogue and use available reading features for personal, lawful purposes. Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, or use automated access in a way that disrupts the website.
Digital editions
When a paid edition is offered, its product page identifies the book, author, available format, price, and what is included. A purchase grants personal access to the edition described on that page. It does not transfer ownership of the Read4Max presentation, cover, metadata, software, or other original editorial and technical work.
Public-domain works
Many underlying literary texts are in the public domain in the United States. Public-domain status of an underlying text does not make Read4Max branding, original covers, software, page design, or newly created editorial material public domain. Readers are responsible for observing the law that applies in their own jurisdiction.
Payments and delivery
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all paid orders and handles payment collection, applicable tax, receipts, and transaction support. Read4Max Classics provides and supports the purchased digital edition. Paddle collects the checkout email and payment details and sends Read4Max verified customer and transaction data needed to create access. Read4Max does not receive complete payment-card details.
Problems with an order
For reader, EPUB, file, or edition problems, contact Read4Max Support. Paddle Order Support handles receipts, billing documents, payment-processing questions, and refund requests. Refunds are governed by Paddle's Refund Policy, the Read4Max Refund Policy, and any mandatory rights that apply to the buyer; where these provide different levels of protection, the highest applicable level applies.
Availability and changes
We may correct errors, improve editions, update site functions, or remove material when required for quality, security, rights, or legal reasons. Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a revised date.
